BROCK Lesnar and John Cena Opened Monday Night Raw with a great brawl to start the build-up in their match in Extreme Rules.

The night started with John Laurinaitis and David Otunga going inside the ring. Laurinaitis then introduced "the new face of the WWE" who will "bring legitimacy" back to the WWE, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar then praises Laurinaitis and talks about legitimacy being brought back to the WWE until Cena appeared at the apron. As Cena entered the ring, Lesnar took down Cena and busted up his lip. They brawled in the ring and it took the whole locker room to seperate the two from each other. Laurinaitis has earlier said Lesnar was going to face Cena at Extreme Rules, and that segment officially started the build to it.

Though a marquee match like Lesnar vs Cena was expected to be seen as far as SummerSlam, having it at Extrem Rules could actually be good so that Lesnar could make an immediate impact in the WWE, given that he wins his match with Cena and he wins in the feud overall. Lesnar currently acts as the anti-Cena, and though he has aligned himself with John Laurinaitis he is still being cheered by the crowd for kicking Cena's ass for two Raws in a row. With the "legitimacy" angle WWE is trying to work in this feud, Cena and Lesnar have the task of delivering a good match to the fans, especially Lesnar, who hasn't been wrestling for eight years. Lesnar's return would be useless if Cena wins this feud, so expect Lesnar to dispose Cena before entering into another big feud or inserting himself into the WWE title picture.
