LAST Monday night, Alberto del Rio returned to WWE television, and he did in grand fashion. He announced that in honor of his return to the ring, Raw and Smackdown GM John Laurinaitis gave him a match against Sheamus for this Friday's Smackdown, with the stipulation that if he wins, he gets a future title shot against Sheamus. With Alberto del Rio being inserted in the World Heavyweight Championship picture, will it result into a good feud between him and Sheamus?

Alberto del Rio and Sheamus have been battling mostly in house shows this year and this may have been because of a future program between the two of them, and this might be it. The two have proven before that they could tangle in the ring and give the people a good match. Sheamus, who is a hard-hitting brawler, meshes well with the ring technician del Rio. If ever they feud, it should have a story and not just for the championship so that the fans would tune in to it everytime they're together. The promos would also be good as del Rio has proven to be great on the mic while the Celtic Warrior is also starting to be a comfortable talker on the mic. Both are ruthless and that will come into play in their future matches.

With del Rio and Sheamus going into a feud, it will be certain that Daniel Bryan would be out of the title picture. While there was no justice in having Bryan job to Sheamus at WrestleMania in 18 seconds, maybe this is a good move for both men as they showed the fans that a program between the two would result into a bland and boring build-up that resulted into a match at WrestleMania with no steam at all, and that's what made it into an opening match instead of being part of the main event.

With the two obviously going into a program, let's hope that they are going to deliver and give the fans great matches to remember and talk about in the future. These guys are the future of the WWE and this feud might be the moment that the two are looking for in order to make themselves true main eventers. They are both Royal Rumble winners and two-time WWE champions, but they need moment that would solidify their status in the WWE. Would this be a good feud for the WHC? Only one can hope.
