MATT Bloom officially returned to the WWE by debuting as Lord Tensai. With his worshipper Sakamoto, Lord Tensai made quick work of Alex Riley, even defeating him by KO.

He was introduced to the fans by Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole as a man who once worked in the WWE but transferred to Japan. In Japan he became a renowned international superstar and honed his craft very well to be one of the most imposing figures in Japanese wrestling, and he has now returned to the WWE. Nothing is still known about Lord Tensai and it is not clear yet what will be his role in the company. But having let him face a babyface like Alex Riley, he would likely start his new run in the WWE as a heel. He was impressive in his debut match and he could be booked as an unstoppable monster in the weeks to come.

Matt Bloom worked for the WWE before as Albert, Prince Albert and A-Train. He was part of the tag team T & A with Test and valet Trish Stratus and part of the stable X-Factor with Justin Credible and X-Pac. He was a former Intercontinental Champion and a stable mid-carder for the company from1999-2004. He was released in 2004 after he sustained an injury. He then went to Japan and worked New Japan Pro Wrestling and Pro Wrestling Noah. He won the tag team titles of both companies with Karl Anderson and was regarded as one of the most successful American wrestlers in Japan while adapting the ring name Giant Bernard.

In his new run in the WWE, may he have success and may he reach upper mid-card or main event in the upcoming months, especially with rumors running around that he would be hired as a personal bodyguard by John Laurinaitis.
