AFTER Bobby Roode retained the TNA World Heavyweight Championship against James Storm at last Sunday's Lockdown PPV, a match was conducted to determine the new no. 1 contender to Bobby Roode. The match was won by the whole fuckin' show himself, Rob Van Dam.

The no. 1 contender's match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship was originally between Mr. Anderson and Jeff Hardy after they each voiced their claims on why they were supposed to be the new no.1 contender after Storm's loss. Hogan scheduled the match between the two but added Rob Van Dam later on the show. Van Dam went on to win the match and will face Bobby Roode on May 13 at the Sacrifice PPV. It might be a little hasty on the part of TNA's creative to put a man who just returned at last week's show to be immediately in the main event challenging for the title. Rob Van Dam might have returned only to find himself challenging for the World title, but expect that he and Roode would deliver a spectacular match at Sacrifice. The build-up should start next week in order for interest at the match would be invested and to set up what could become a good feud.
